What Is Hydroponics?
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without the use of soil. The plants are grown in nutrient/water solution using inert grow mediums, or other formulations for plant support and stability.
Hydroponics is currently being used around the world, and is now considered as a multi-million-dollar industry.
There are different plants that can be grown using hydroponics. These include food plants, ornamentals, herbs, and medicinal plants.
The use of hydroponics is considered sustainable agriculture and has been used in greenhouses worldwide since the 1960s, and is considered a version of hydroculture.
